ABSTRACT
The first record of Paleocene small
foraminifers in the Philippines is
discussed, ultimately changing the age
previously assigned certain localities
in southern Palawan, The presence of
predominantly sinistral coiled
Globarotalia velascoensis (Cushman) in
the assemblages is stratigraphically
significant.
