Abstract

Interpretation of recently acquired 2-D seismic profiles in the offshore area between Bondoc Peninsula and Burias Island, South Luzon, Philippines, indicates that the region is characterized by a complex set of structures affecting carbonate and clastic sequences. This complex structural signature implies that the region has been affected by multiple phases of tectonic deformation, resulting in the inversion of structures in the sedimentary packages.
